The Galkangu Bendigo GovHub is a new, centralized government building in Bendigo, Victoria, that houses multiple state government departments and the City of Greater Bendigo
The building is a 4-story, sustainable structure made with a large mass timber frame and features a 6-Star Green Star rating for its design.
Standstruct played an integral role with early contractor involvement, helping to evolve this project to what it was today.
Our crew spent a 6 months living and working in Bendigo to complete this amazing structure 20 days ahead of program.
Standstruct programed, supervised, and unloaded over 160 deliveries of CLT and GLT from our trusted partners Australian Sustainable Hardwoods and XLAM Australia.
This project stands out as a prime example of Mass timber being utilised to its full potential.
