Franklin road, Portsea was one of the first Single dwelling projects undertaken by Standstruct.

Standstruct was tasked with not only the extensive CLT installation but also the installation of the sub floor utilising the SureFoot system of no dig stumps and traditional LVL bearers.

The site itself posed a challenge for our crews with low powerlines on the boundary of the property and steep grade of the existing property.

Working with our craneage partners and engineers, we were able to install concrete piers to support a LTM 1100-4.2 with vari-base technology, allow us to reach all areas of the site during the 2-week constructions.

With the design calling for exposed timber faces to the internal of all clt panels, Standstruct crews worked above and beyond to ensure the most care was taken during construction to keep all exposed surfaces free from dust and grime usually associated with construction, leaving each panel mark free resulting in a greater value project for the builder

• 100t Liebherr crane was utilised for its ability to short stack its outriggers to suit the smaller site
